Constantine GherghinaBorn in the village Gornenți in Mehedinți, the west of Oltenia, in 1945. He started playing flugel horn with the village musicians then went to study at Timișoara music school, continuing at the Bucarești conservatoire, then working in the Broadcasting orchestra.
